For the most favourable timing, perform this ritual on a Thursday (traditionally ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion, luck, and wealth) or during a Waxing Moon, which supports growth, attraction, and incoming prosperity.
Items Needed
- 1 Natural Green Aventurine stone (tumbled or raw; thoroughly cleansed)
- 1 Green or Gold candle (symbolising abundance and solar ambition)
- A small piece of paper and a pen (natural parchment or plain paper)
- A carrier oil or essential oil (optional: bergamot, cinnamon, or cedar wood for prosperity)
- A heatproof dish or small bowl
Method
1. Cleanse Your Space and Stone
Clear stagnant energy from your working space and stone. Pass the Green Aventurine through smoke (cedar, garden sage, or frankincense), rest it briefly on a selenite charging plate, or sound a singing bowl/bell over it. Ensure your workspace is clean, quiet, and free of clutter.
2. Ground and Centre Your Energy
Sit comfortably with both feet flat on the floor. Take three slow, diaphragmatic breaths: inhale for four counts, hold for four, and exhale completely. Picture roots extending from your feet into the earth, grounding your focus into the physical realm rather than wishful daydreams.
3. Write the Career Petition
On your slip of paper, state your goal in the present tense as an active reality rather than a passive hope. Avoid vague phrases like “I want more money.” Instead, use clear, tangible benchmarks like “I attract lucrative freelance clients who value my expertise and pay promptly.” or “I lead my team with confidence and secure the promotion to [Title you want] with an annual salary of [Amount you].”
Fold the paper toward yourself three times to draw the opportunity inward.
4. Anoint and Light the Candle:
If using essential oil, rub a drop onto the candle from base to wick (directing the energy upward into fruition). Place the candle securely in its holder, set your folded petition underneath the candle base (or safely beside it), and light the wick.
5. Charge the Green Aventurine
Hold the Green Aventurine between the palms of your hands at your heart centre (Anahata). Close your eyes and visualise emerald-green light swirling through the stone, mirroring the rhythm of your heartbeat.
