This Egyptian Tarot deck draws inspiration from the work of renowned occultist Jean-Baptiste Pitois, who, in 1870, claimed that the tarot originated from the legendary Book of Thoth—a sacred text said to reveal the mysteries of Egyptian magic. Painted in tempera on papyrus, the cards reflect Pitois’s vision and partially reinterpret his symbolic system. According to Pitois the tarot came from the legendary Book of Thoth a knowledgeable book which explains all of the mysteries of Egyptian magic.
The new editions of the Grand Trumps have better cards, new graphics, revised instructions and hard box.
These Egyptian Tarot cards also come with instructions on how to use and decipher your cards.
