Description

My Pyrites specimens are bigger and better formed than so many others that are available  and hence very popular with my customers, so much that they are part of our ‘standard stock’ and we usually have many available. They all pass my quality test of quality, colour and price.

Pyrites have been popular since ancient times as both a means to start a fire and also for jewellery and decoration.  The Victorians loved Pyrites so much they marketed it as Marcasite jewellery even though it didn’t contain the mineral marcasite.

Though it carries Earth energy, it is typically associated with fire energy traits, resonating with warmth, the sun, vitality and inner power.

Stimulating the second and third chakras, pyrite enhances strength of mind and willpower. Pyrite is considered to be lucky, attracting wealth and abundance. Though not a birthstone, pyrite is most commonly associated with the zodiac sign of Leo.
