Description

This is one of my very hard to get Blue John Specimens because it is Britain’s rarest mineral with mining limited to only a few hundred kilos of stones each year.

Blue John (AKA Derbyshire Spar) is a rare form of fluorite with bands of a purple-blue or yellowish colour. In the United Kingdom it is found only at Blue John Cavern and Treak Cliff Cavern at Castleton in Derbyshire.

Since Blue John is a variety of fluorite it has all the properties of Fluorite which is extremely good for balancing, clearing energy blocks, organising thoughts and ideas/

For more information on Blue John, see my post Here

The specimen measures range from 13.77-24.90mm high x 18.55-20.47mm long x 25.08-39.87 mm wide and weigh approx 10 grams.

All my crystals and stones are personally selected by me for their shape, colour and the best quality for a good price. The Specimen you receive will be the exact one displayed in the picture. Because of the differences between digital platforms there may be a slight difference from the colour you see to the actual stone.
